Our mission
We believe great work happens in the right space at the right time. Whether you're a dance instructor looking for a mirrored studio Saturday morning, a band hunting for a soundproof rehearsal space, or a business owner with an empty space that could earn revenue — the path between those two people should be a few taps, not a phone tree.
InstaRoomBookings is that path. Real-time availability, transparent pricing, and instant confirmation — so both sides can plan around what they actually have booked.
For renters
- Browse spaces by size, amenities (mirrors, sound systems), and neighborhood on an interactive map.
- See live availability — no back-and-forth texts about “is 2pm still free?”
- Book and pay in one flow, once or every week with a single checkout. Automatic confirmation email and reminder text.
- See the exact price up front, including off-peak rates and any coupons your studio has given you.
- Reschedule yourself, even to another studio or building from the same owner. A pricier time? Pay just the difference. A cheaper one? The difference is refunded.
- Fair cancellation window: cancel up to 24 hours before your booking for a full refund.
- One “Action needed” page for anything waiting on you: holds to pay, move requests, contracts to sign. Plus an invoice for every booking.
For owners
- List spaces in minutes. Set your price, hours, and photos — we handle the booking flow.
- Direct deposits via Stripe — no chasing renters for payment.
- Floor-plan view lets renters see all your rooms in a building at a glance.
- Peak and off-peak pricing, recurring weekly bookings, coupons for regulars, and holds for renters you want to save a spot for.
- Approve renters with orientations, and have them e-sign your contracts and rental waiver before they book.
- A calendar with a day-by-studio view: drag bookings between rooms, or propose a move and let the renter decide.
- Optional penalty terms (no-shows, cleaning) and damage claims, agreed to by renters at checkout.
- A public class schedule with a lobby QR code, and booking metrics to see what's working.
- Fair platform commission — you keep the majority of every booking, and Stripe processing is included.

Enter your date and time. See only the spaces actually available in that window, on a map or in a list.
Book
Pick a space, confirm the details, and pay with any major card. Your reservation is locked in instantly.
Show up
Get a confirmation email, an SMS reminder an hour before, and clear directions. That's it — walk in and use the space.
Why trust us
- Secure payments. All transactions are processed by Stripe. We never store your card details on our servers. When a studio has penalty terms, your card is saved securely with Stripe, not with us, and you're always notified and given time to pay or dispute before any charge.
- Verified owners. Every space owner completes Stripe's identity verification before they can list a space or receive payouts.
- Transparent pricing. No hidden fees. You see the rent, processing cost, and total before you book — and the exact same numbers on your receipt. If a studio uses penalty fees, you see and agree to them before booking, and each one is capped.
- Fair disputes. Penalties about the space's condition need photos, both sides can add their own, and disputed claims are reviewed by our team. Signed contracts and waivers stay on file for both of you.

Who we are
InstaRoomBookings is a product of EMPMachines LLC, an independent software company. We built the platform because we kept running into the same problem ourselves — needing a space for a few hours and having no easy way to find, book, and pay for one.
We're a small team, currently based in the United States, focused on making booking a space as simple as booking a table at a restaurant. If you have ideas for making it better, we'd love to hear from you.
Business identity
InstaRoomBookings is operated by EMPMachines LLC, a single-member limited liability company. Edgar Perez is the sole member of EMPMachines LLC.
Because EMPMachines LLC is a single-member LLC, the IRS treats it as a disregarded entity for federal tax purposes, so our business profile with certain service providers (including our messaging carrier) is registered under the sole member's personal name. "Edgar Perez", "EMPMachines LLC", and "InstaRoomBookings" refer to the same operating business.
